LBSA Office Hours

Our Main Office is located in B-1.    Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9 am - 6:30 pm  &  Fridays  9 am - 4 pm.    During weeks when students are not in classes our office hours are 9 am - 4 pm, this would apply to the following weeks in the 2018 - 19 school year.  8/27/18 - 9/7/18, 12/17/18 - 12/21/18, 1/28/19 - 2/1/19 and 6/3/19 - 6/21/19.          

 

Registration Information for the 2018-2019 school year
Student registration will require a photo ID for alignment with LBUSD campus safety policy and a working email for ongoing home/school communication.  If you do not have a working email, you may set-up a free email during registration. All students will be required to sign the Student Attendance and Behavior/Dress/Disciplinary Action Policies.  Policies are available on the LBSA website at www.lbschools.net/lbsa  Registration is first-come, first-served, current students have priority registration 4 days following the end of the term. To get more detailed information about each of our programs click the blue program tab on the left side of the homepage. 

 

 

Steps to enroll in a Career Technical Education Class, Animal Care or Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

 Step 1:  Each prospective CTE student needs to come in to the Adult School Main Office B-1 to fill out required enrollment paperwork.  Step 2: Pay for the class. We accept cash, debit or credit. (Payments Plans are available.) To find out more details about the cost of each class, click the blue program tab on the left side of the homepage.  Fall 2018 enrollment for CTE Classes start August 14, 2018.  CTE students do not take an assessment test, and orientation for the class is given the first class session.                                                                                                                            

Steps to enroll in a English as a Second Language Class (ESL)

Step 1:  Come to Room 17B, the ESL Registration Office at LBSA. Bring with you a government-issued photo ID such as Driver's Licence, Consulate ID, Visa or Embassy papers. We do not accept F-1 or I-20 VisasStep 2: Take a placement test to determine class level.  Step 3: Fill out required registration forms. Step 4:  Commit to attending your ESL Class with 80% or higher attendance.   For more details about the ESL classes that LBSA offers click the blue program tab on the left side of the homepage.

Steps to enroll in High School Diploma (HSD), High School Equivalency preparation (HiSET) or Adult Basic Education (ABE) Programs

Step 1: Attend an orientation. See the Orientation Schedule by clicking the blue orientation tab on the left side of the homepage. Step 2:  Complete assessment test to determine program placement.  Step 3: Once placement level is determined, register online in the computer lab for your class. Step 4:  Get your start date to begin class.

Please save at least 3 hours to complete this process. Enrollment process must be completed before you can start attending class.

 

Attendance is very important, a 80% attendance rate is required for all LBSA classes.  Commit today!
