High School Diploma Program

 Official transcripts are required for placement  in the High School Diploma Program.  Transcripts need to have at least 85 credits posted on them to be considered for this program. Any student with less than 85 credits will be referred to our High School equivalency preparation program (HiSET). All students will be required to take an assessment as a part of the registration process. A score of 8.6 or higher is needed on the assessment to qualify for this program.  This is an Independent Study Program, all students are required to report for classroom instructional support a minimum of two sessions per week, a total of at least 4 hours .

 

Steps to enroll in High School Diploma 

Step 1: Attend an orientation. See the Orientation Schedule by clicking the blue orientation tab on the left side of this page. Step 2: Fill out registration paper work and get a student ID number. Step 3: Complete assessment test to determine program placement.  Step 4: Once placement level is determined, your will be place in the appropriate class or on a waiting list .Step 4:  If you are enrolled Obtain your start date for your program.

 

Enrollment process will take approximately 3 hours to complete. 

 

Attendance is very important, an 80% attendance rate is required for all LBSA classes.  Any student who drops below the 80% attendance rate will be dropped from the program. Any student missing two consecutive  weeks of classes will also be dropped.  Commit today!

 

       It is very important for all students to keep a working e-mail, that is check regularly and up to date working phone numbers. This information is used by teachers and staff  to communicate with students on wait lists, school events and class assignments.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Fall Semester Classes begin: Sept 10, 2018 -Jan 25, 2019. 

 

Spring Semester Classes begin: Jan 28, 2018 - June 13, 2019.
